How did fire suppression systems develop?
The reason we now have such sophisticated fire suppression systems is thanks to fire protection engineers. These engineers specialise in identifying risks and designing systems that can reduce or mitigate a range of potentially life-threatening fire hazards. Their work brings them into contact with architects and developers, as well as government safety agencies, and they are also recruited by companies that employ fire investigation teams, such as insurance firms.
