Handy and Flexible – Foam Fire Extinguishers
Foam based units should be utilised on fuel fires in either an aspirated or not aspirated type. Aspirated foam units are blended and expanded with air inside of a branch pipe. Non-aspirated foam forms to develop a frothy cover or seal above the fuel. This prevents oxygen from reaching it. Unlike powder extinguishers, foam enables you to extinguish fires with no likelihood of flashback.
Fire Classes Along with Their Meanings
If we speak about fire classes we are not referring to fire education, we mean something completely different. Fire classes are the various kinds of fires which could occur, usually dependant upon the kind of material that’s actually on fire.
