These measures must be strictly enforced or else there is a danger of the vehicle going out of control, overturning or losing balance.

The first important check which must be done daily when you enter the vehicle for the first time is tire pressure. Tire pressure must be checked when the vehicle is cold. Otherwise the correct tire pressure will not be obtained. The tire pressure must always be maintained at the recommended pressure not a pound less or more.

Deficient pressure will cause wear and tear of the tires much faster and more pressure will give a bumpy ride and the tires loses grip leading to greater chances of skidding and overturning.

The wheels must be regularly aligned since misaligned wheels will lead to unequal wearing of tires. It will also affect the efficiency of braking leading to loss of stability of the vehicle while braking.

For having equal tread wear in all tires it is better to rotate the 4 tires. Always keep the best tire in the front since it is the driving as well as steering wheel. Check the tread regularly and if it is worn out better change it or go for retreading.

The next important thing to keep an eye on is cracks and cuts as well as bulges caused due to weakening of that portion of the tire. Show it to an expert since he is the best person to tell you if you need to change the tires.

This is important because if the vehicle is in motion and the tire suffers a burst it can be the cause of a serious accident.

And never exceed the capacity of the vehicle by either overcrowding or put loading goods beyond the stated capacity of the vehicle.
