Utility Terrain Vehicle, UTV, is not a fancy 4×4 but a particular kind of vehicle that’s been built to be very good at all kinds of off road use. You’ll want to make sure you understand what off road means, and when considering the use of an off road or 4×4 vehicle.

It’s important if your considering an off road adventure that you don’t take what you see on tv for granted. This means they not only are the only vehicle on the course, but also, the course has been made specifically for that vehicle and commercial.
Never go 4×4ing or off roading in a new vehicle alone. There’s a good chance you could be walking miles back to civilization after something gets punctured (oil pan), something breaks (an axle) or you become high centered on rocks, trees or a large bump or ditch in the road.
If you’re serious about off roading then it’s time to consider a UTV, look them up, test drive one, and then be sure you’re not going to be walking home because you have a vehicle that can handle the rough stuff.
